Fun Fly Comp

Having been very deeply involved for many years in the development and production of some of the most succesful Fun Fly models.
 As far as I can remember, The panic the moronic and the frantic won nearly every top position in all rounds at the brittish nationals for over five years.
Taking the top 13 positions one year.
Having had such  good feed back with our mini panic we have started producing a mini moronic and now also the Mini Frantic.
The idea came to me that with the advent of the small powerful outrunner motors and lighter weight batteries.
small fun fly could be as it was twenty years ago  FUN .
The proposed rules are very simple.
Rule 1: The maximum wing span should be no greater than 1 meter 
Rule 2: The Aircraft must be Electric powered
           Thats it for rules on the plane.

                   Now for flying rules:
Batteries of different sizes can be used for each round.
Propeller types and sizes can be changed as often as desired.
The motor can only be changed if the original has failed.

       The proposed rounds are as follows:
Climb and glide:    10 to 15 seconds climb depending on wind strength
                              followed by longest glide suggested max 4 mins (closest to wins)

Tripple thrash:       Consisting of: 3 loops , 3 spins followed by 3 rolls.
                              This can be Timed from either take off or once airbourne depending on
                              how competative the entrants are feeling (also availability of super glue).

Limbo:                    This would usually be the most amount of passes under the tape
                               in a two minuite period.                  
                               If it is possible we will do away with the tape and have a series
                               of light beams and sensors that you fly through to gain the points.

Touch and go:         You are given 2 minuites to perform as many cuircits as possible touching
                               the wheels on the  ground within the defined area.
                               Each cuiruit and touch counts as one point.

There are quite a few aircraft that work well in these events but we feel we have a good range to offer good competition, another very good competition plane is the Evolution models mini fusion, I Know this our main competitor But they could do with the help selling what is a very good kit. and without  other competative kits there is no compettion.
