Panic Team Schedule

The Panic Team have flown together for over 25 years.(with a few new additions).
We have added new manouvers as the years have passed.
Listed are some of the manouvers we try to put together to make a display.
We Make up the schedule on the day to suite the wind strength and direction.
There is always a nominated caller and each manouver is counted down.

Below is a one of the schedules we have used before.

Take off into wind (unless the wind is from behind) Cuircut back into wind(this allows the the team to trim models and re-form group) for a slow fly-by.
To the up wind end for a stall turn always away from the crowd 3 2 1 climb  3 2 1 turn.
We often add either a prop hang or a flick at this point to vary the display, If we are high enough we will add a roll on the way down.
Next 4 Point roll  counted 3 - 2-  1/ 2/ 3/ 4, then Reversal  3 2 1 Half loop  3 2 1  half roll.
Back into the middle for 3 small loops  3 2 1 loop 3 2 1 loop 3 2 1 loop .
To the up wind end for a stall turn with a flick at the top, 3 2 1 climb 3 2 1 Flick.
Down wind  flicks 3 2 1 flick 3 2 1 flick 3 2 1 flick followed by a hand break turn.
This is a horizontal stall turn performed best at the down wind end so that the aircraft
turns flat using rudder then throttle back as soon as the aircraft comes back into wind
and appears to stop.
Back into wind for a harrier fly by Nose up as slow as possible (possible add Rolls) into middle for prop hang (we may not be the best but we were the first ) The pilots are told that it is better to climb rather than fall out, we then apply power to climb for spins.
climb up wind and formate on the middle plane. if there is not much wind we usually perform power on spins. (see FAQS) 3 2 1 spin 3 2 1 power on is called, out of the spin into the middle
heading up wind and wait for the team to reform.
Follow the leader large loops (watch for some of us putting the wrong rudder on at the
top of the loop). tighten the loops making them small and compact.
Next chicken rolls and chicken loops.
All the pilots to the right of the caller fly upwind for a stall at the same time all on the left do the same ( this is hard for the caller to keep the aircraft together as he has to watch both ends of the flight line whilst flying his own model.
The pilots on the right stay close in while the others stay futher out. both groups roll as they pass the caller, the sne is performed for the chicken loops.(there is also a chicken slice)
Knife edge but this is much harder to get the timing right.
Depending on time we may add touch and go,s we often repeat parts of the display
that best worked on the day.
The landing is left up to the individual, normal, catch, invarted or power on spin all feature.
If you want to try this schedule with a few friends and send us a copy we would be very pleased to see it . Good Flying from Rob Newman and all the Panic team
