The latest in radio transmitter technology. The Futaba 6EX 2.4 GHz system ensures clear and precise control of your model in all conditions. The 6EX boasts a six model memory and servo reversing capablities. End point adjustment for fine tuning servo throws. Dual/Exponential rate for ailerons, rudders and elevators and for peace of mind; fail safes to protect against signal failures.
The 6EX also has advanced programming functions that include:
- 5 Point Normal and Idle Up Throttle/Pitch Curves.
- Throttle Hold: For autorotation.
- Revolution Mixing: Mix rudder and pitch together.
- Gyro Mixing: Two gyro gain settings can be programmed and selected during flight.
- Swash to Throttle Mixing: Corrects slowing of the engine´s speed caused by the swashplate.
- Swashplate Types: Choose from 1S (independent aileron, pitch and elevator servos linked to the swashplate), 3S (120° CCPM), or 3E (90° CCPM).
- Swash Adjustable Function Rate: For use with 1S, 3S or 3E swash types.

Continuious Channel Shifting:
Other 2.4GHz systems hold firm to one or two frequencies, increasing the potential for interference. The frequency of Futaba 2.4GHz FASST shifts every 2 milliseconds, so there are no signal conflicts or interruptions – and no need for a frequency pin!
Pre-Vision:
2.4GHz FASST scans incoming data and applies sophisticated error correction techniques – resulting in a system that gives you a solid, impenetrable connection with your model.
Dual Antenna Diversity:
Futaba 2.4GHz FASST systems seamlessly select the best reception between two receiver antennas, so there´s no loss of signal.
Easy Link:
Futaba 2.4GHz FASST system transmitters leave the factory with a unique and permanent ID code. Once linked to the receiver, the code ensures that the receiver will recognize and respond ONLY to that transmitter. The linking process is simple...just push a button on the receiver.
Custom-Developed IC Chips:
Futaba uses custom IC chips that have been designed specifically for radio-control – ensuring quality, reliability, and safety. This is why Futaba FASST systems are faster and more reliable than the competition.
Compact, "All-in-One" Receivers:
Futaba´s small, powerful 2.4GHz FASST R606FS and R607FS receivers for flight systems can control giant-scale models as easily as park flyers and weigh a scant 7 grams without case. Full-range systems from other manufacturers include a bigger, two-piece receiver, and you must purchase a smaller park flyer receiver separately.Over 2x Less Minimum Latency:
Latency is the elapsed time between your movement of the transmitter controls and servo response. In Futaba 2.4GHz FASST systems, that response can happen over twice as fast – so you feel less like you´re "out in front" leading your model, and more like you´re inside driving or flying it.
100x Faster Antenna Switching:
If the receiver notices a problem with the data coming into one antenna, it rapidly switches to the other, looking for the sharpest signal.
Stronger, More Robust Link:
Futaba doesn´t need redundant receivers. Instead, we use a combination of Channel Shifting and Dual Antenna Diversity (DAD) to provide a robust, highly dependable link between transmitter and receiver.
Hassle-Free Fail Safe:
Futaba 2.4GHz´s Fail Safe is programmed right through the transmitter on the 6EX, just like on conventional systems. The competitor´s radios require a complicated six-step process to set up their Fail Safe, along with a separate binding plug that can easily be misplaced.
