We are aiming to make an Olympic sized blanket for Bliss during 2009- 2011 and cover a football field in blankets during 2012

Please do us a blanket, any yarn, any colour, any stitch (knitted or crocheted) to the 50cm x 100cm measurements and raise £5 or £10. Then send (or bring) it to Avicraft and we will stitch them all together in January 2012.
No excuses - you have a 2 whole years.
Do you run a youth group? or teach in a school? What about getting the kids to knit a 10cm square each and donate 50p each then sew it all together for a class/club blanket.

Run a business or work for a big corporation? Why not persuade them to get a blanket made in corporate colours/logo and give us a minimum donation of £100 and we will show your support in the big blanket (great positive advertising opportunity)

 Want to learn to knit? Well I'll teach you for FREE if you knit a Bliss blanket and raise £10 for us.

I also have a supply of free yarn that can be used to make blankets for those unable to afford yarn but who wish to join in. For collection only from the shop in Bromley.


You can join us by visiting the BLISS web site and downloading the prem baby patterns and knitting for prem babies( Just drop your finished items into the shop and we will deliver them to neonatal units close to Bromley.) Or knitting for our giant blanket.

At the end of the project the blanket(s) will be donated to Save the Children, The Cat's Protection League and Battersea.

Get someone to sponsor you for knitting your blanket or baby clothes - donate baby yarn for knitters to use - just donate money!

Get out your needles and knit like fury - we need this blanket on 31st December 2011!

If you don't want to do a whole blanket why not make us some flowers using the patterns on this site. Send them to us and we will sell them for Bliss.
