  We will be selling hand made items and promoting the work of BLISS at the SOUTHERN MODEL AIR SHOW at The Hop Farm Paddock Wood Saturday 19th September 2009 and Sunday 20th September 2009 - come a join us. Free knitting lessons and other fund raising activities.

We are aiming to make a record blanket for Bliss during 2009- 2011 and cover a football field in blankets.

Please do us a blanket, any yarn, any colour, any stitch (knitted or crocheted) to the 50cm x 100cm measurements and raise £5 or £10. Then send (or bring) it to Avicraft and we will stitch them all together in January 2012.
No excuses - you have a 2 whole years.
We hope to have "drop off" points at all the craft shows this year (courtesy of Knitting magazine) and Knit Today are offering free entry into a prize draw if you send them a photo of your blanket .... please check out both magazines for more information.

Do you run a youth group? or teach in a school? What about getting the kids to knit a 10cm square each and donate 50p each then sew it all together for a class/club blanket.

Run a business or work for a big corporation? Why not persuade them to get a blanket made in corporate colours/logo and give us a minimum donation of £100 and we will show your support in the big blanket (great positive advertising opportunity)

If anyone would like to brighten up the Monday morning blues why not come in for a cuppa and a bit of a knit? Want to learn to knit? Well I'll teach you for FREE if you knit a Bliss blanket and raise £10 for us.

I also have a supply of free yarn that can be used to make blankets for those unable to afford yarn but who wish to join in. For collection only from the shop in Bromley.


You can join us by visiting the BLISS web site and downloading the prem baby patterns and knitting for prem babies( Just drop your finished items into the shop and we will deliver them to neonatal units close to Bromley.) Or knitting for our giant blanket.

Get someone to sponsor you for knitting your blanket or baby clothes - donate baby yarn for knitters to use - just donate money!

Get out your needles and knit like fury - we need this blanket on 31st December 2011!
