Based in Bromley, Kent, Avicraft Ltd is a retail shop selling Mainly Model aircraft, Helicopters, cars, boats and accessories.
A bit of History:
It was Bunny Newman who founded Avicraft over 60 years ago.
When Bunny retired the business was carried on by Rob and Alistair Newman who have spent their whole lives working in the shop and for the company.
50 years is a lot of knowledge for us to share with you the customer and this is what Avicraft thrives on.
Bunny Newman also founded the Concord Model Flying Club amongst many others which now has over 100 members attending. So obviously these guys know a fair amount about planes and the understanding of how they work!
We offer a range of good modelling products and believe me we try most of them which is good because we can tell you about them maybe even show you some working.
Most modellers know that buying a model is just the start, the important part is the advice and knowledge available for you to ask questions on set-ups whether it be on Batteries for your model, type of motor ; prop sizes ; choice of radio / servos.
We have been involved with the Panic Team for 30 plus years As well as designing and manufacturing many well known kits such as The many versions of Panic Bi-plane, The Prangster, the Bullet glider the moronic and the Frantic , a vintage style model called the “Watkin Retro” and our latest fun fly the Fun-“e”, also available in 2 sizes.
